We're looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team, bringing expertise in vendor management, supplier relationships, and strategic purchasing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with a diverse range of contractors and suppliers, focusing on materials for maintenance operations.
Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to optimize cost savings.
Source and assess suppliers to ensure the best value, quality, and timely delivery.
Manage and coordinate the procurement process to support operational needs, meeting deadlines under pressure.
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure seamless processing and adherence to budgets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, suppliers, and market conditions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on dealing with multiple contractors and material suppliers in the maintenance field.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure the best deals.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
Good attitude, teamwork skills, and professional integrity.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and operational processes.
