- Evaluates suppliers on delivery, quality, and cost performance, and find alternative suppliers to establish cost savings as well as minimize the risk of supplier failures to the company.
- Ensures the availability of materials needed in production and in any other department.
- Monitors the ordering process and delivery status of goods.
- Together with the Engineering department, evaluates suppliers on delivery, quality, and cost performance and proposes replacement suppliers if necessary.
- Ensures consumable items are enough for production requirements, especially polishing items.
- Helps in checking Inter Company prices for sales quotation purposes.
- Oversees material demands for local/international suppliers either buy-out orders/local orders.
- Obtains recommendations from suppliers for possible alternative items with the approval of the quality.
- Verifies receipt orders versus the items ordered.
- Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
- Take responsibility for the stock level of raw material, purchased items, semi-fabricated and finished goods.
- Any other job-related duties as required.

- Strengthens the intercompany relationship on internal shipments and purchases.
- Takes responsibility for the stock level of raw material, purchased items, and semi-fabricated and finished goods in terms of conditions and accuracy.
- Analyzes stocks versus demands.
- Takes responsibility for the tool/equipment repairs, maintenance, and service as per request.
- Maintains IMS (Integrated Management System) requirement and follow safety standard procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Team player and able to get on with people of different nationalities.
- Comfortable in working with different functions, e.g., Engineering, Operations, and Sales.
- Comfortable with technical issues/requirements and working with Intercompany, sales, etc.
- Knowledgeable in Procurement Management and SAP system/ ERP.
- Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers ideally in the manufacturing-related industry.
- Motivator.
- Has strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Has a positive attitude.
- Languages: Excellent English; Arabic is plus but not essential.
Computer Skills:
- Good MS Office knowledge.
- Presentation skills.
- ERP knowledge (SAP).
