We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer with a strong background in the construction industry, specifically with experience in handling submittals for the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of purchasing construction-related products and established relationships with suppliers. This position requires experience in successfully completing 5 to 6 #380KV projects in Saudi Arabia, along with a proven track record of obtaining SEC material approvals. Key Responsibilities: Submittal Management: Prepare and submit submittals for SEC approvals, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and client requirements. Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for construction-related products, including electrical components and equipment for 380KV projects. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and source necessary materials, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines. Cost Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement status and supplier performance. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree Strong knowledge of SEC submittal processes and requirements. Proven experience in completing 5 to 6 380KV projects in Saudi Arabia. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong understanding of construction-related products and market trends. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Please send your CV
