Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, furnishings, and services for our interior design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a keen eye for quality and cost-efficiency. This role involves collaborating with design teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for materials, furnishings, and services required for interior design projects.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.
• Place orders and manage procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
2. Supplier Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality products and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
3. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
• Track inventory levels of key materials and products, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with design teams to forecast future material needs and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Manage logistics and delivery schedules to ensure the timely arrival of products and minimize project delays.
3. Budget and Cost Control:
• Develop and manage procurement budgets in line with project requirements and financial constraints.
• Analyze and report on procurement expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and budgetary limits while making purchasing decisions.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analyses, supplier performance metrics, and inventory status.
• Ensure all procurement activities are documented and comply with company policies and procedures.
5.Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with interior designers and project managers to understand project requirements and preferences.
• Provide procurement support and advice during project planning and execution stages.
• Address any procurement-related issues or concerns raised by design teams or clients.
6. Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience (Preferred U.A.E) in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attributes:
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and able to anticipate and address procurement challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CIPS).
• Experience with interior design procurement processes and materials.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials and sourcing practices.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
