job Title: Procurement Specialist - Fa\xc3\xa7ade and AluminumPosition Overview:As a Procurement Specialist specializing in fa\xc3\xa7ade and aluminum, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and project management to support our projects\' success by sourcing high-quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Research and identify potential suppliers of fa\xc3\xa7ade and aluminum materials, evaluate their capabilities, quality standards, and pricing to ensure alignment with company requirements.
• Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and quality standards. Draft and execute procurement contracts to formalize agreements and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor their performance, and address any issues or concerns to ensure consistent quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
• Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies, such as bulk purchasing, vendor consolidation, and value engineering, to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels of facade and aluminum materials, minimize excess inventory, and avoid stockouts or delays in project timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to establish and enforce quality standards for facade and aluminum materials, conduct supplier audits, and address any quality issues or deviations from specifications.
• Market Research and Trend Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and technological advancements in facade and aluminum materials to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and process improvement.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications for facade and aluminum materials, such as ASTM, ISO, and LEED. Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics. Generate regular reports and analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Master\'s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on facade and aluminum materials or related construction products.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management principles, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and sustainability initiatives in the construction industry.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, perform cost analysis, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
