Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Procurement Officer to oversee our procurement process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cost-effectiveness, quality assurance, and timely delivery of imported goods. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and previous experience working with vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost-efficiency and quality standards. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best value and service. Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements, ensuring they align with operational needs. Collaborate with various teams on project-specific requirements as necessary. Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of goods and materials for operational needs. Provide ongoing support to the operations and facilities teams, ensuring smooth procurement processes. Maintain accurate procurement records, including reports on supplier performance, inventory, and purchasing trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with specific experience in the infrastructure and healthcare sectors. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms. Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
