Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: 3+ years UAE experience in automobile industry

We are a leading firm in the automobile industry, specializing in designing and manufacturing of specialized armored vehicles.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, equipment, and services essential to our daily operations and manufacturing processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to cultivate and maintain supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sourcing: Identify reliable suppliers and vendors, and evaluate their quotations and proposals.

- Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.

- Procurement Planning: Develop procurement strategies that align with company objectives and ensure uninterrupted production schedules.

- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.

- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.

- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure purchased items meet required quality standards.

- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

- Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within the automobile industry.

- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.

- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
