Job Location: Ras Al Khaimah and FujairahImmediate joiners preferredJob SummaryAs the Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at the best possible value. You will lead a team and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies and enhance supplier relationships.Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and budgetary requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manage supplier performance.
  • Contract Management:
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, and resolve any contract-related issues.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet operational needs.
  • Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions and price fluctuations.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline procurement operations.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA
  • Proven 3-4 years experience in procurement management particularly in the FM industry, with a track record of successfully managing procurement processes and supplier relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost savings and value optimization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and e-procurement platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
