You will lead a team and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies and enhance supplier relationships.Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and budgetary requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers.
Supplier Management:
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manage supplier performance.
Contract Management:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, and resolve any contract-related issues.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet operational needs.
Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions and price fluctuations.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Process Improvement:
Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline procurement operations.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA
Proven 3-4 years experience in procurement management particularly in the FM industry, with a track record of successfully managing procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost savings and value optimization.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and e-procurement platforms.
Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
