Job Title: Procurement Officer (Facilities Management and Real Estate)
Reports To: Procurement Manager/Director
Job Summary: The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process for facilities management services and real estate-related activities. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers and service providers to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and real estate, with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for facilities management and real estate services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best value for the organization.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance and compliance with contract terms.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare regular reports on procurement performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on facilities management and real estate.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certification in procurement if available
