Job Role : - Procurement Officer
Job Location : - Hamriyah Freezon, Sharjah
Key Responsibilities:
? Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of quality materials and services.
? Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
? -Purchase Orders: Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
? Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained without overstocking.
? Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.
? Cost Control: Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
? Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, supplier market conditions, and material availability.
? Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
? Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement activities with company objectives.
Qualifications:
? Education: Minimum Diploma Level 4 in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Bachelor's degree
? Experience: Minimum of 02 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
? Preference to Arabic Nationals
