Job Summary:
As the Procurement Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities. This role will challenge you to lead sourcing efforts, onboard new suppliers, develop alternative supply sources, and manage procurement planning to ensure operational excellence. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing the procurement strategy, driving cost savings, and ensuring timely, high-quality supply for the company's critical industrial operations.
Your ability to manage key supplier relationships, negotiate effectively, and implement innovative procurement solutions will be vital to the company's growth. Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing & Supplier Onboarding : Lead the search for reliable and high-quality suppliers, ensuring seamless onboarding processes and establishing alternative supply sources to mitigate risks.
• Procurement Strategy Development : Design and implement procurement strategies that align with business growth objectives, focusing on cost optimization, quality, and delivery performance.
• Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing, timely delivery, and compliance with industry standards.
• Negotiations & Contract Management : Lead negotiations for key supplier contracts, securing the best terms for the company while fostering long-term partnerships.
• Procurement Planning & Forecasting : Develop and execute procurement plans to meet operational demands, ensuring that supplies are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Cost Management : Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies across the procurement function without compromising on quality or supply chain integrity.
• Alternative Supply Development : Proactively develop and implement alternative supply sources to ensure continuity in the supply chain and reduce dependency on single suppliers.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience : A minimum of 7 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
• Sourcing & Supplier Management : Demonstrated expertise in supplier onboarding, alternative supply development, and relationship management.
• Strategic Mindset : Ability to develop long-term procurement strategies while balancing day-to-day operational demands.
• Negotiation Skills : Strong negotiator with a proven track record of managing complex contracts and securing favorable terms.
• Procurement Planning : Experience in procurement planning, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with industrial products such as lifting equipment, material handling tools, or similar technical products is highly desirable.
