We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Manager (SELLING purchaser) to oversee purchasing activities for a trading company specializing in the marine industry, with a focus on marine spare parts. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, have a proven track record in procurement, and be able to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the company's requirements for marine spare parts.
• Manage the procurement cycle, including purchase orders, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and align purchases with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends and supplier offerings to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all procurement activities.
• Address any issues related to purchasing, including delays, disputes, or non-compliance.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
7-10 years in UAE procurement , particularly in a trading company, preferably within the marine industry or related to marine spare parts.
Skills:
Strong purchase order and contract negotiation skills.
Education:
A relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Attributes:
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Availability:
Immediate joiner preferred.
