As the Procurement Manager for the Super High-Rise Project, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement processes for all materials, equipment, and services required for the construction of the project. This role involves working closely with the project management team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the procurement strategy for the super high-rise project, ensuring alignment with project goals, budget, and timeline.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including the purchase of materials, equipment, and services for the project.
• Manage the procurement team, providing guidance, support, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international procurement standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and report on procurement progress, resolving issues and addressing risks to ensure project milestones are met.
• Track procurement costs, manage budgets, and ensure value engineering opportunities are explored and utilized.
• Collaborate with the project management team to resolve technical, operational, and logistical challenges related to procurement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within large-scale construction or engineering projects, preferably in super high-rise or complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, cost control, and supply chain management in the construction industry.
• Experience in managing international procurement for projects in diverse geographic regions is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic, etc.) is a plus.
