Position: Procurement Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading procurement operations in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for managing sourcing strategies, vendor relations, and cost optimization initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional with over 15+ years of experience to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the procurement department, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to achieve favorable agreements and align with company goals.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of purchase orders, quotations, and tender processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, logistics, and operations to ensure procurement needs are met effectively.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, new suppliers, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of industry developments.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting cost-saving initiatives and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations, including UAE-specific legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 10 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in managing large-scale procurement operations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management.
• Familiarity with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience in managing procurement teams and driving process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
• Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations and market conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Preferably experience with Construction back ground will be considered.
