We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in logistics and fluency in Chinese and English to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in international logistics procurement, supplier management, and cost optimization to support the company's expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop logistics procurement plans and project-based resource procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
• Liaise with 2C last-mile service providers (express and postal services) and local intercontinental fleets to secure advantageous resources, ensuring their effective use.
• Procure high-quality local warehousing resources to meet business requirements.
• Optimize the pool of intercontinental capacity suppliers, conduct regular price negotiations, manage contracts, and assess supplier performance to systematically manage suppliers and reduce costs.
• Introduce high-quality capacity resources, negotiate contracts with new suppliers, and mitigate risks to secure competitive terms.
• Analyze and assess the strengths and weaknesses of 2C last-mile service providers and trucking service providers in the intercontinental region.
• Develop and enforce procurement management systems, workflows, and assessment standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, operations, and sales) to implement production capacity and optimize resource utilization based on quality metrics.
• Monitor market conditions for logistics capacity, collect and share pricing trends, and adjust strategies to reduce costs and enhance competitiveness.
Required Qualifications
• Over 10 years of experience in international logistics and warehousing.
• Extensive experience in supplier procurement, management, and assessment, particularly in 2C last-mile service providers and trucking resources.
• Proven expertise in capacity procurement team management; experience in e-commerce logistics and warehousing is an advantage.
• Exceptional negotiation and coordination skills, with a clear understanding of market capacity conditions and pricing structures.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (both are required working languages).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently manage projects and coordinate effectively with teams.
• Proficient in using office and data analysis software.
• Honest, pragmatic, and capable of working under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills and rapid learning abilities.
