About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to manage the company's procurement activities, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services required to meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement processes are cost-effective and align with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the provision of procurement and procurement services to AIQ in areas for cost effectiveness, centralized procurement and contracting strategies.
• Propose recommendations to procurement commitments, including in formulating procurement strategies.
• Manage procurement requests for approval of tenders and issue of contract for service and procurement.
• Manage and review of the procurement commitments.
• Initiate & co-ordinate the review and identify problem areas, risks, difficulties and other concerns related to procurement function, includes proposing course of corrective and mitigation measures for Management.
• Manage, facilitate and support in monitoring and ensuring that the procurement activities are executed in accordance with Procurement guidelines with implementing effective technical and procurement strategies in order to achieve best procurement/technical outcomes.
• Ensure in providing effective Procurement strategies includes participating in the formulation of strategies for best procurement practices.
• Monitor procurement processes to support in ensuing that they are managed in an ethical and impartial manner to protect and enhance the good image and procurement integrity of AIQ
• Take responsibility for improving the contractual terms and conditions for AIQ proposed contracts in coordination with suppliers and contractors
• Assist in the preparation and submission of reports in a timely and accurate manner for the Function's recommendations to AIQ management.
• Identify suppliers for sourcing of goods and services at optimal rates and Identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Manage prequalification, registration and onboarding of suppliers
• Carry out the bidding events (RFI/ RFQ/ RFP) and conduct competitive analysis.
• Negotiate agreements for goods and services including complex licensing agreements.
• Perform benchmark analysis for all renewals and new purchases.
• Lead Procurement projects independently and deliver pre-defined outcomes.
• Effectively manage and upkeep contracts life cycle including review of contractual compliance of suppliers.
• Issue PO's and follow up approvals.
• Expedite order delivery to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Follow up and finalize activities related to logistics, movement of material and customs' clearance.
• Prepare and conduct supplier evaluation process / supplier scorecards in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain documents required for successful completion of audit trail.
• Carry out periodic suppliers' evaluation & assessment to monitor the supplier's performance for better improvements.
• Assist in activities related to system automation and process engineering
• Extract data required for preparation of various reports.
• Conduct cross-function collaboration with other stakeholders.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
Qualifications:
Qualification and Years of Experience • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field - specifically in sourcing, supplier relations and contract management.
• Relevant certification in Procurement - CPP, CIPS etc. would be an advantage.
• SAP user and knowledge.
Essential Knowledge and Skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Techno-commercial knowledge in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• General knowledge in Procurement Laws.
• Extensive experience in development of sourcing strategies, encompassing vendor identification, development and analytical assessment, to strengthen supply chain effectiveness.

• Strong communication, negotiation, networking, planning & organizational, and analytical skills.
• Good reasoning ability to solve a wide range of business problems.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
