Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to identify procurement requirements for construction projects.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms and achieve cost savings.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a construction company
• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or construction purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, terms, and regulations.
