Job Purpose: Job Purpose:The Procurement and Logistics Specialist will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of procurement professionals to ensure best possible Customer Relationship Management and Supplier Relationship Management practices are put into place during the procurement process. Furthermore, the P&L Specialist will be responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation for multiple groups of complex and high value commodities and services to achieve value for money at the lowest total cost of ownership and best competitive position for Emirates Group, in accordance with best practice Procurement and Logistics techniques.What you will do:\xc2\xb7 Monitor Suppliers\' compliance with contract terms and conditions, deliver routine attestations and reports. The Procurement and Logistics Specialist is also required to monitor Emirates Group compliance with contract terms and conditions with various commitments.\xc2\xb7 Manage contract library and control document access. Ensure consistent record retention with a view to establishing a shared repository with suppliers.\xc2\xb7 Facilitate timely problem resolution of contractual issues to minimise impact of service disruptions on Emirates, coordinate appropriate reviews.\xc2\xb7 Provide support to the Senior Leadership team, in the implementation of agreed strategies to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership and / or acquisition for multiple groups of commodities and services.\xc2\xb7 Supervise the function of sourcing, pre-qualifying, and evaluating suppliers by Procurement team to assess what services and products suppliers are qualified to provide and advise senior Procurement and User Department Managers of the most appropriate commodities and services to meet the Specifications.\xc2\xb7 Ownership of authorising supply orders and contracts for values up to AED 10k. Responsible for analysing and preparing reports and recommendations for review and approval at P&L Manager/ Manager P&L when values exceed AED10k.\xc2\xb7 Supervise the development of tender documents from the Procurement team and facilitate cross-functional (interdepartmental) teams to produce detailed specifications (where appropriate, in conjunction with Legal, Insurance and User departments) and to subsequently issue for tender to obtain equal and competitive quotations. Partner with senior stakeholders on commercial conditions and risk considerations.\xc2\xb7 Lead cross-functional teams in complex negotiations on the full range of commercial considerations and operational needs as required for multiple groups of complex and/or high-risk commodities to ensure that the Emirates Group\'s best contractual and commercial position is attained.\xc2\xb7 Identify and take action to mitigate any unnecessary commercial risk for the Emirates Group procurement activity and supply base in any of the multiple groups of commodities or services under the Procurement team\'s activity.\xc2\xb7 Implement CRM/SRM programs across multiple commodity / service groups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage supplier development and partnership.\xc2\xb7 Generate reviews with the buyers, activity, and performance reports to ensure that the section is functioning efficiently and identify to Leadership areas where their guidance may be required.Qualifications & Experience: This job might be for you if you have:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree related to Procurement, Finance or Engineering.\xc2\xb7 Must have CIPS Certification (Diploma/Advanced)\xc2\xb7 5+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Contract Negotiation and Management, Category Strategy, Vendor Evaluation and Management.\xc2\xb7 Experience in sourcing and contracting in a complex engineering business or high-volume spare parts environment with Aviation is preferable.\xc2\xb7 5+ years of experience in commercial and contract negotiation\xe2\x80\x99s role, procurement techniques, ideally with financial acumen within the P&L department of a large organization.\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, negotiating key commercial and contractual terms.\xc2\xb7 Strategic management skill with in-depth knowledge of the market and offer insights to organisation like market size, projected growth, competitors, industry trend etc.\xc2\xb7 Ability to systematically analyse complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions. Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow.\xc2\xb7 Good negotiating, persuasive and interpersonal skills, both in one-on-one and group situations.
