We are dedicated to supporting families by offering diverse, high-quality products.Position Overview:The Procurement and Logistics Officer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring products for our online store, managing relationships with suppliers and distributors both locally and internationally, and handling all logistics and documentation processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in procurement and logistics, a strong understanding of the mother and baby products market, and be a resident of Dubai.Key Responsibilities:
Product Sourcing: Identify and procure the right products for our online store, ensuring a diverse and high-quality product range that meets our customers\' needs.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and distributors. Identify and onboard new suppliers and distributors locally and internationally.
Logistics Coordination: Manage all logistics processes, including shipment planning, coordination, and tracking to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Documentation: Handle all necessary procurement and logistics documentation, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive products, making informed decisions on product selection and pricing.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, coordinating with the warehouse team as needed.
Cost Management: Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and cost savings for the company.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products procured meet the companys quality standards and customer expectations.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and logistics operations to management.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics in Dubai / UAE, preferably within the e-commerce or retail industry in mother and baby products.
Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Knowledge of local and international logistics and shipping regulations.
Familiarity with documentation requirements for international shipments.
