Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Executive specialising in seafood to manage the sourcing and procurement of seafood products for our organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of high-quality seafood while maintaining cost efficiency and adherence to company standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

•Sourcing and Negotiation:•

• Identify and establish relationships with seafood suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Continuously evaluate supplier performance and capabilities.

•Procurement Management:•

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs.
• Place orders and oversee the procurement process from order placement to delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock.

•Quality Assurance:•

• Set and maintain quality standards for seafood products.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of suppliers.
• Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

•Logistics and Distribution:•

• Coordinate with logistics partners for transportation and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Manage import/export processes and documentation as required.

•Cost Management:•

• Track and analyze procurement spend.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Work towards achieving budgetary goals and targets.

•Compliance and Risk Management:•

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in seafood procurement or related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and effective supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of seafood products, market trends, and supplier networks.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
