Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team .The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase of materials, supplies, and services required for our furniture production operations. This role involves vendor management, negotiation, inventory monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with the production needs of the factory. Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure best value for the company. Sourcing: Source raw materials, components, and finished goods (e.g., wood, hardware, fabrics) from local and international suppliers. Ensure high quality and cost-effective products. Inventory Control: Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock. Order Management: Raise purchase orders, track shipments, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs while maintaining quality standards, working to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the reliability and quality of supply. Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand current trends, price fluctuations, and potential new suppliers. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and regulations. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and suppliers. Provide regular reports to management on cost savings, supplier performance, and any procurement-related issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry or similar. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems. Knowledge of materials used in furniture manufacturing (wood, upholstery, metal, etc.) is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Additional Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
