Procurement Engineer With Epc Oil/gas Experience Required

Job Overview
As a Procurement Engineer, you will play a vital role in the procurement process by ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials and services necessary for manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Duties
• Implement procurement strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Conduct supplier evaluations and manage supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485, IATF 16949:2016, and PPAP
• Utilize Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and sourcing initiatives
• Oversee the procurement of components required for assembly processes
• Perform quality assurance checks on incoming materials
Experience
• Proven experience in supplier management and procurement within an Oil/Gas EPC Companies
• Strong background in process engineering with a focus on optimizing supply chain operations
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar procurement software is preferred
• Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as PPAP and Lean manufacturing
• Experience in working with ADNOC projects are preferred
