Job Title: Procurement Engineer Location: Sharjah Experience: More than 3 years in the Construction Industry Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering As a Procurement Engineer based in Sharjah, you will lead the procurement efforts with a primary focus on the construction industry. Your role involves strategic sourcing, negotiation, and collaboration with suppliers to secure materials, heavy machinery, generators, and electrical systems essential for our projects. The ideal candidate will bring more than three years of experience in procurement within the construction sector, complemented by a Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering. Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with suppliers for construction materials, machinery, generators, and electrical components.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Develop strategies, evaluate suppliers, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Material Procurement: Oversee the procurement of construction materials, aligning with project requirements.
- Technical Procurement: Source heavy machinery, generators, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Contract Management: Draft contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and collaborate to mitigate risks.
- Cost Analysis and Budgeting: Analyze costs, identify savings opportunities, and manage procurement budgets.
- Quality Assurance: Work with quality control teams to ensure high-quality procurement.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- More than 3 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
