Experience:
• 5 - 8 years years of experience in procurement or a related role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Proven track record of managing procurement activities for large-scale projects.
Skills and Competencies:
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of construction materials, specifications, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with procurement and inventory management software (ERP).
• Negotiation Skills:
• Excellent ability to negotiate favorable terms and contracts.
• Analytical Skills:
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
• Communication and Teamwork:
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Time Management:
• Capacity to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Other Requirements:
• Knowledge of relevant local and international procurement regulations.
