Job Description

Job Requirement:

1. Experience in purchasing for 10-15 years in either civil contracting or automobile industry or environment field.

2. Engineering degree / Diploma (Subcontract agreements or Automobile parts). Certification / Diploma in purchasing

3. Good Knowledge of Civil works, BOQ, Construction drawings & Vehicle parts :

1. Checking the Material / Services requests from the Divisions, understand the requirement and scope of work.

2 Sending out inquiries to the authorized dealers / suppliers / sub-contractors.

3 Follow up for the quotations, check the received quotations, make proper price comparisons.

4 Follow up for delivery of materials, coordinate with finance department for supplier payments.

Main Responsibilities:

o prepares tender and contract documents for all D&I works;

o participates in the selection of supplies based on criteria;

o assists in pre-qualifying consultants and contractors;

o prepares request to Tender Board for contracts award and follow up on such request;

o maintains a schedule of contractual details of all contracts;

o monitors the application of contract conditions during their execution and revise and update as required;

o assists in establishing standard conditions of contract and supporting documentation for the various types of consultancy, supply and works contracts;

o carries out all contract procurement activities; o ensures prompt processing of payments for contractors;

o perform other related duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
