Job Description

Technical Office / Procurement Engineer required for a General Contracting company. Experience in the local market with existing relationships and vendor knowledge required.

You will be required to:

• use ERP/Accounting software to search, record and make purchase orders after sourcing, evaluating and negotiating the right materials at the right price for the right time
• read and understand material specifications per project requirements
• collect and keep organized datasheets, catalogues, method statements, etc.
• assist in creating material submittals and recommending alternate and equivalent materials
• maintain up-to-date records, daily task closeouts and PO completions for package to Accounts
• work with office and site colleagues for value-engineering and creative problem solving
• assist in resource planning
• closely monitor and expedite materials and deliveries to support project timelines
• foresee potential problems and proactively resolve them

Pay: AED6,200.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
• ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, or Tally: 1 year (Required)
• local purchasing: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License or ability to get one (Preferred)
• UAE attested Bachelor's Degree CE or EE (Preferred)
