We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer (Fit-out) to join our dynamic team. As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services essential to the smooth operation of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of procurement strategies and strengthen supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and Purchasing : Manage end-to-end procurement processes for goods and services, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Supplier Management : Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers, evaluating their performance to ensure reliability and quality.
• Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with organisational requirements and industry standards.
• Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent supply shortages or overstocking.
• Cost Control : Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
• Data Analysis and Reporting : Prepare procurement reports, analyse market trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Compliance : Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal departments to coordinate procurement activities and support business needs.
Qualifications:
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience : At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in [fit-out/joinery industry]
