, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and maintaining accurate records. You will also assist in processing purchase orders, evaluating supplier performance, and preparing procurement reports to support project teams and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation:
Source, evaluate, and identify reliable suppliers for materials, goods, and services based on project requirements and cost-effectiveness.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth communication and the timely delivery of materials.
Purchase Orders:
Prepare, process, and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
Performance Evaluation:
Conduct supplier performance evaluations, monitoring the quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of suppliers and their deliveries.
Procurement Records:
Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and other relevant documents.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, tracking orders, expenditures, supplier performance, and delivery schedules.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, site teams, and procurement team members to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project schedules.
Inventory Coordination:
Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring that the required materials are available when needed, without overstocking.
Requirements:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the Interior Fit-Out industry, with a focus on sourcing, supplier evaluation, and order management.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple procurement tasks and deadlines.
Attention to Detail:
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accurate purchase orders and procurement records.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, project teams, and other stakeholders.
UAE Market Experience:
Experience working in the UAE market is preferred.
Driving License:
A valid UAE driving license is a plus.
