Job Description

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency. Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with potential suppliers and vendors. Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to determine technical requirements and specifications for needed materials and equipment. Create and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to potential vendors. Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options within budget constraints. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contract terms and conditions. Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical business practices, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts. Stay informed about market trends and advancements in supply chain management practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong technical knowledge relevant to the industry Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in data analysis and cost management Experience with procurement software and ERP systems Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
