Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Engineer with expertise in the fabrication and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services essential for our projects, ensuring timely procurement and adherence to quality and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of meeting project requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues promptly.
• Material and Equipment Procurement:
• Source and procure construction materials, specialized equipment, and tools according to project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project schedules.
• Cost Management:
• Analyze costs, prepare cost estimates, and develop budgets for procurement activities.
• Implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives without compromising on quality or project timelines.
• Logistics and Inventory Control:
• Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize holding costs.
• Contract Administration:
• Review and finalize purchase orders and contracts in collaboration with legal and project management teams.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer or similar role in the fabrication or construction industry.
• Deep understanding of Fabrication materials, Aluminum & Glass, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with sourcing and procuring construction materials, Metal fabrication and equipment from local and international markets.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
