Are you a skilled negotiator and detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement in the construction and engineering field?





One of our esteemed clients is looking for a Procurement Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing project procurement. In this role, you will ensure seamless sourcing, evaluation, and acquisition of all materials and services needed for civil, MEP, and finishing projects.





Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our projects by ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.









Responsibilities


• Manage procurement activities for civil, MEP, and finishing projects.
• Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from departments and prepare tenders for potential vendors.
• Evaluate technical and commercial bids to meet project requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact for Requests for Information (RFIs) between vendors and departments.
• Negotiate terms and finalize purchase orders and work contracts.
• Draft and review contracts to ensure all commercial, technical, and legal terms are included.
• Prepare weekly procurement reports and update the procurement manager.
• Source and prequalify new vendors to enhance the supplier database.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and continuously improve procurement strategies.
• Assist with any other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.






Qualifications





Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.





Skills:


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
