Job Summary: Supply Chain Data Entry, will be responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and organizing data pertaining to the company\'s supply chain operations. This includes information on stock movements, shipments, deliveries, and other relevant data. The role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through the supply chain, enabling effective decision-making by the management team. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Entering data accurately in SAP, such as stock and material transfers, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Data Maintenance: Making sure shipments are completed as scheduled by updating and maintaining supply chain databases, including stock and material transfers.
- Record Keeping: Organizing and maintaining records of all supply chain transactions, including claim forms, receipt, material and stock transfer shipments.
- Data Analysis: Assisting in the analysis of supply chain data to identify stock movements, and opportunities for improvement, and providing reports to management as required.
- Communication: Collaborating with operations and logistics to ensure accurate data exchange and smooth coordination of supply chain activities.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving data discrepancies, errors, or issues in a timely manner, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Contributing ideas and suggestions for enhancing data entry processes, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications for data entry and analysis, such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, or any ERP software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and analyse supply chain data to extract meaningful insights.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes related to supply chain management.
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work during peak periods or to meet deadlines.
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
