The Role
Position Summary: The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team in acquiring goods and services for the organization. They assist with sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and ensuring timely order placement. This role involves maintaining accurate records of orders, contracts, and supplier communications. The Procurement Assistant also works closely with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking and preventing shortages. Additionally, they assist with processing invoices, handling paperwork, and ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets. Key Responsibilities: Follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) and Proforma Invoices (PI) with suppliers. Enter data and maintain documentation of supporting procurement documents. Collaborate closely with Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in administration or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in procurement or administration. Skills: Strong organizational skills Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Excellent communication skills Strong time management abilities
