Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Follow and implement the Storing Procedures.

Follow and implement the safety instructions related to materials handling and storage.

Assure that all items in store moved according to FIFO system.

Prepare and file all realted records for items movements.

Improves program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.

Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.

Control purchasing department budgets.

Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures.

Direct coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and storing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies.

Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.

Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.

Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

Prepare and pocess requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

Responsible for planning transport routes and means.

Ensures that goods are packed and appropriately and negotiates contracts for transportation and handling.

Prepare and check all necessary documents required to ensure that the documents meet the requirements of national customs authorities or any other regulatory body.

Oversee the delivery of goods in accordance with customer specifications and ensures that the deadlines are met.

Deals with all third parties involved in the operation as well as makes and collects payments on behalf of the customer.

Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, discipinary procedures and absence management.

Any other related jobs, which the Managing Director, Admin. Manager and Production Heads may require.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required to assist in technical aspects of the new construction project.
• Experience : 0-1 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related administrative role; experience in construction procurement is an advantage. Skills :
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and engineering standards is essential.

• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of procurement, supply chain management, and civil engineering processes.

This role is crucial for ensuring smooth procurement operations, with the additional technical expertise of a Civil Engineer to assist in the timely and successful execution of the company's new construction project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
