SynopsisThe Process Officer (PO) supports the respective Quality Manager, and he/she is responsible for the establishment of manuals, processes, forms, and authorizations within the Etihad management system.The PO manages all documentation related requests, assessing the lead time, stakeholders, priority levels and manpower requirements for the efficient establishment of the manual/process/authorization, including obtaining regulatory approvals, as required.Accountabilities
Liaising with various stakeholders (Operations/Technical departments, Quality Assurance, Finance and External Organizations) to ensure full completion of the documentation approval process in a timely/efficient manner.
Creating/Amending/Reviewing company\'s processes/procedures to ensure the documents adhere to Etihad\'s Safety & Quality Management System standards and are in compliance with regulatory authorities.
Ensuring that any manual/document/authorization has undergone the correct approval process prior to its publication and that quality control has been conducted on the document\'s layout, format, and contents.
Communicating with Civil Aviation Authorities and submitting the required documentation for regulatory approvals
Reviewing and evaluating civil aviation laws, regulations and standards and translating the relevant provisions into company procedures.
Managing the record keeping of change requests for all QA approved manuals, processes, forms, and authorizations, ensuring traceability and retention of records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Incorporating significant inputs from operational departmental stakeholders while simultaneously ensuring that the documents comply with regulatory requirements and QA standards.
Manages and controls the Quality Management database (including AMOS and INTELEX) to ensure that all airworthiness / operations related data is up to date and accurately recorded.
Providing Quality Assurance Management with data reviews/analysis to establish trends and to determine gaps, as required.
Education & Experience
Degree / diploma in a technical field is preferred.
At least 4 years of airline experience with airworthiness and/or aviation operations is required.
Process management /compliance monitoring experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge on Quality Management Systems, and airline processes and procedures
High standard of computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications) and document editing required.
Strong written English is required.
