Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Private Tutor. As a Private Tutor at Filo, your role will involve providing live instant tutoring sessions to students through interactive video sessions. You will assist students in understanding concepts, solving problems, and answering questions in real-time. Your day-to-day tasks will revolve around engaging students, explaining complex topics, and adapting your teaching style to meet individual learning needs.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in the relevant academic area(s)
• Experience in tutoring or teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Patience and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet environment for remote tutoring
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate students from different time zones
• Experience with online tutoring platforms is a plus
• Teaching certification or relevant academic qualifications are beneficial
