Private Bank - Business Development and Strategy Analyst, AnalystJob ID: R0333666Full/Part-Time: Full-timeRegular/Temporary: RegularListed: 2024-06-10Location: DubaiPosition OverviewThe Business Development and Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring operational efficiency within the GSAA (Global South Asia) region spanning across Dubai, Singapore, Switzerland, India, UK. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The scope of this role includes:Managing the sales pipeline across multiple locations.Overseeing budgeting and financial forecasting.Preparing strategic presentations for various stakeholders.Analyzing and reporting on weekly performance metrics.Facilitating communication and coordination among regional teams and the performance management team.Contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Pipeline Management:
  • Assist the Subregion Head in managing and maintaining the sales pipeline across all GSAA regions.
  • Track and report on pipeline progress, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the pipeline and communicate them to the Subregion Head.
Budgeting:
  • Coordinate the budgeting process for the GSAA regions, working closely with finance and regional teams.
  • Monitor budget expenditures and provide regular reports on budget performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budget planning sessions.
Strategic Presentations:
  • Prepare and compile strategic presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely mailing and distribution of presentations and other relevant documents.
  • Maintain a repository of presentation materials and templates.
Weekly Reporting:
  • Compile and analyze weekly performance data, generating reports and insights for the Subregion Head.
  • Coordinate with the performance management team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
Support the creation of performance dashboards and other tracking tools.Coordination and Communication:
  • Act as a liaison between the Subregion Head, regional teams, and the performance management team.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across different teams and regions.
  • Organize and participate in meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes as needed.
Strategic Planning:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Support strategic decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Expense Management:
  • Handle Concur claims and G&E (Gifts & Entertainment) approvals for Sub Region Head (SRH)
Review Concur claims of Direct Reports of SRH prior to final approval.Ensure timely and accurate submission of SRH expense reports.Calendar Management:
  • Maintain and manage SRH calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments efficiently.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize schedules.
Travel Coordination:
  • Prepare and submit travel forms pre and post-travel.
  • Ensure all call reports are approved before sending for final approval.
  • Review travel forms with the Business Manager (BM) before going for further approval.
Marketing Support for SRH in all location for coordination:
  • Collect and manage information for marketing events according to specific requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on event preparations.
  • Gather attendee names from Relationship Managers (RMs), Raise G&E for the attendees of RM
  • Ensure templates are filled with client bios for management review and timely submission.
Festive gifts (back up):
  • Organize and manage gifts for RMs, including raising approvals for parent cords.
  • Collaborate with location RMs to ensure all steps are correctly followed.
Employee Onboarding/Offboarding (back up):
  • Facilitate orderly onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Ensure all necessary procedures are completed accurately.
Invoice and Purchase Order Management (back up):
  • Submit invoices on DB Buyer and raise Purchase Orders (POs) as required.
  • Ensure timely processing and follow-up on payments.
Adhoc Tasks:
  • Assist with various tasks as required by the management.
Monthly Reporting (back up):
  • Prepare the monthly RM deck for Nick and Preeti.
  • Compile and organize data and reports as needed for monthly reviews.
. Administrative Support (back up):
  • Handle general administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and office supply management.
  • Manage and update contact lists and distribution lists.
  • Assist with the organization of internal and external meetings, including booking rooms and arranging necessary equipment.
  • Support other administrative tasks and projects as required
Skills:Graduate (minimum) in BCom/Finance background.Experience in a similar role with banks/Big 4 consultancy firms is desired.Proficient in excel (Advanced levels) and Powerpoint (Advanced) is a must.
