Job Description

Supervise and coordinate all activities related to pre-press operations, including but not limited to die cutting key lines, sample making, and ensuring compliance with job order specifications.

Oversee the creation and verification of dielines and key lines for die cutting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production requirements.

Team Supervision and Coordination:

Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support in executing pre-press tasks effectively.

Allocate workload and resources efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all pre-press materials meet quality standards and specifications before being released for production.

Conduct regular checks and reviews of artwork, proofs, and samples to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Process Improvement:

Implement and maintain best practices in pre-press operations to optimize efficiency, minimize errors, and reduce turnaround times.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and improve overall production processes.

Job Order Management:

Review and approve job orders for pre-press operations, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are clear and achievable.

Communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role within the printing or packaging industry, with specific knowledge of die cutting key lines and sample making.

Proficiency in graphic design software and pre-press tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Esko ArtPro, etc.).

Strong understanding of printing processes, color management, and production workflows.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
