Context:

The Principal Bridge Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of complex bridge structures as part of a large-scale rail project. This position requires a highly experienced professional with expertise in bridge engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams. The role involves overseeing the development of innovative design solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and delivering high-quality outcomes within project timelines.


Missions/Main Duties:

The Principal Bridge Engineer will be responsible for developing design concepts, leading design team, and overseeing the detailed design of complex bridge projects. The ideal candidate should have experience with large-scale projects and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in designing segmental post-tensioned box girder bridges, prestressed concrete, steel, and composite bridges is required. Experience with cable-supported structures and steel orthotropic decks is highly preferred. Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, and Eurocode standards is essential.


Profile/Skills:
• Master's degree in civil engineering/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Should have experience with large-scale projects and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in designing segmental post-tensioned box girder bridges, prestressed concrete, steel, and composite bridges is required.
• Experience with cable-supported structures and steel orthotropic decks is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, and Eurocode standards is essential.
