This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a Principal or Associate Principal to join their team based in Abu Dhabi. The role will focus on APAC co-investments in private markets and the ideal candidate will be from this region as an investor for an international fund. What the job involves
- Generate deal flow and investment ideas considering all relevant macro and industry trends in accordance with the team\'s investment mandate
- Responsible for the entire life cycle of investments: screening & analysis, presentation at investment committee, monitoring of investments and overseeing the exit
- Prepares, presents and defends internal investment recommendations
- Maintaining a constant awareness of activities in assigned sectors/geographic locations for the purpose of identifying potential investment opportunities
- Leading work streams such as various diligence processes as well being the point of contact for industry experts, management teams and investment partners
- Significant transaction experience and proven track record of evaluating and executing investment opportunities in the APAC region for an international investment organisation
- Excellent technical skills developing and analysing financial models
- Experience working alongside other top-tier asset managers / private equity funds on co-investment opportunities
- A degree and / or MBA from a top-tier university
- Desire and ability to be based in the UAE full time
