Principal Consultant (Middle East Region)
The Role
Purpose of the role is to play a strategic role on client accounts in the Middle East region, to support clients to make a positive impact on their business performance as a result of action taken on their Employee Engagement survey results. The role focuses on business outcomes rather than specific project outcomes. The role interacts with the most senior client stakeholders on our larger projects. The role is also responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships to retain clients, ensure future Korn Ferry KF Listen business, and identify new opportunities within the client for Korn Ferry KF Listen and other parts of Korn Ferry.
Key Responsibilities:
The role holder handles multiple projects, working primarily with Middle East regional clients who are identified as key accounts
Responsible for retaining clients through strong client relationship management
Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders (principally C-suite, VP of HR/OD). Needs a deep understanding of clients\' business needs and strategic objectives and acts as a strategic advisor
Delivers business and organisational insights, helping clients take action on survey findings, and finds ways to track ROI on business improvements
Directs action planning and change initiatives for organisational improvement
Helps clients link survey data to other business processes or initiatives
Responsible for coordinating and collaborating with client and Korn Ferry Insight client delivery team; shares issues, communicates regularly and participates in meetings
Takes a lead role in conducting interviews with senior management and other stakeholders, developing questionnaires, developing and delivering insightful presentations
Participates in internal and external client debriefs, and key client meetings
Responsible for identifying new business within client organisation by assessing needs outside of what was initially expressed and expanding network of contacts within client
Actively participates in new business development activities to support Business Development team, including acting as technical and relationship expert to give input on proposals and attend pitches
Partners with wider Korn Ferry teams, acting as subject matter expert, to lead joint sales efforts to win new work and demonstrate \'joined-up\' solutions for clients
Develop and coach more junior client advisory consultants
Contribute to improvement of Insight practice and materials and people development
Education, experience and other qualifications:
Background in Psychology preferred or associated discipline
Additional formal education (e.g. MBA, MA, MSc, Chartered Psychologist) a real advantage
Strong understanding of business generally and impact on company performance
Ideally knowledge of multiple sectors (e.g. Financial Services, Retail, Pharmaceuticals)
Track record of successfully delivering projects according to defined KPIs and aligning the interests of multiple stakeholders
Understanding of wider Korn Ferry offerings
Survey platform experience such as Qualtrics, GLINT, Peakon etc\xe2\x80\xa6
Extensive survey research background and analytical skills, gained via a consultancy or in-house at a client
Able to work independently on all aspects of the survey project
Experience of questionnaire design, data analysis and presentation writing and delivery experience at C-suite level
Deep experience of stakeholder interviews and focus groups
In-depth understanding of research methods/techniques to advise clients and guide internal teams
Direct client contact experience in Middle East region. Ideal candidates will have experience of working with blue-chip clients and government organisations at C-suite level in the Middle East, as well as projects with complex methodologies
Ability to build rapport and trust, develop/maintain relationships and \'stand ground\' at Board level. Must be confident to challenge and influence senior people in client organisations
Past success in business development, networking and marketing
