Job Description

:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Transport Planner to join our team!What You\'ll Be Doing:Prepare transportation master plans and transportation studies for developments including data collection and analysis, and develop and analyze mitigation measures.Perform operational analysis using standard packages including SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, AIMSUN and VISSIM.Conduct urban \\metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.Apply travel demand modelling toolsCollaborate with road design and urban planning teamsWhat Required Skills You\'ll Bring:Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 10 years hands-on experience in transportation planning including conduct of transportation impacts studies and transportation master plansHands-on experience in travel demand modeling, including use of packages such as CUBEExperienced in the use of operational and/or travel demand modeling analysis toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:Master Degree in related field.Experience in public transportation, transportation policy development and or planning and analysis of non-motorized transportation planningUAE experience, especially Abu Dhabi desirable.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
