As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Job Summary:An experienced technician (electronic) to provide a specialized test equipment development capability in HALCON Systems Development Engineering Division.Key Accountabilities:
Provide an in-house test equipment development capability, such as testing design support, development of test equipment for development engineering, An experienced technician (electronic) to provide a specialized test equipment development capability in HALCON Systems Development Engineering Division.and production test equipment to support projects/ products of Halcon.
Attend design reviews in order to influence the testability of the designs and products.
Support and participate with the Mechatronic engineering team regarding defining test equipment strategy, the support of the weapon integration teams and support of Halcon test infrastructure and facilities.
Interpret test specifications and procedures in order to develop and produce test equipment for verification and qualification of subsystems.
Gain product and design intent knowledge for industrialization, test and know-how transfer in order to form a bridge between development and production.
Generate software coding for Halcon and external Client test equipment. (NI Labview & Test Stand proficient)
Support Junior engineers to facilitate projects and perform responsibilities designated by the Design engineer.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Engineering diploma, B.Tech degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in electronics or aerospace engineering
At least 12 yr (Engineering Diploma), 10 yr (T4/B.Tech) of related experience in the defense and aerospace industry.
Working knowledge of test techniques, NI test software and test equipment development and manufacturing.
