Lead the quality assurance processes across all stages of product development and production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, AS9100).
Develop, implement, and maintain the company\'s quality management system (QMS) to ensure it meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Manage the resolution of audit findings and non-conformities.
Oversee supplier quality assurance processes, including supplier audits, evaluations, and performance monitoring to ensure the quality of materials and components.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and increasing operational efficiency. Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
Oversee product testing and validation processes to ensure products meet design specifications, performance criteria, and safety standards.
Prepare and review quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with customers. Address customer concerns, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify potential risks to product quality and safety, and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor\'s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CQE, CQM) are preferred.
Atleast 10 Years of experience in quality engineering within the aviation industry, with a strong track record of leading quality initiatives and managing quality systems.
In-depth knowledge of aviation industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, AS9100, ISO 9001).
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
