Review procurement documents to ensure that Welding related requirements have been correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents.
Develop, Review and approve Vendor & Site Sub-Contractor ITPs, QCPs, WPS and ITRs based on corporate standard.
Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality Welding related matters.
Coordinate for failure analysis and root cause analysis on welding related issues.
Plan, conduct, track and report welding engineering investigations.
Monitoring Welding Procedure and Welder Qualifications.
Verify that the Welding related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
Monitor and control of sub-contractor Welding repair rate.
Participate in the internal and external site audits.
Control all non-conformance reports related to welding and undertake remedial action.
Review the customers specification and undertake relevant training to the site Welding inspectors.
Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals related to Welding to the customer.
Assure all technical welding documents relative to site quality control are current status.
Report major welding issues to corporate quality which need to be circulated as a quality alert.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering or equivalent.\xc2\xb7 International Welding Engineer (IWE), CSWP 3.2.2, NDT PCN Level 2 certifications.\xc2\xb7 Certified European Welding Engineer (preferred).\xc2\xb7 Minimum 15 years experience as Welding Engineer preferably in Oil & Gas, Offshore projects.\xc2\xb7 Should have previously worked with major EPC contractor.#LI-BS1Additional Information
