As a Principal PH Engineer in Building Services within our MEP team, you will lead high-profile projects, ensure technical excellence, and maintain strong client relationships. You will provide strategic direction, mentor junior engineers, and drive the successful delivery of complex MEP projects.Lead and oversee PH side of portfolio from inception to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines.Develop and maintain strong, productive client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for major projects.Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.Conduct comprehensive technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues.Undertake site visits as required to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support project operations.Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the MEP division, including identifying new business opportunities and improving technical processes.Support the preparation of technical and bid proposals, ensuring competitive and comprehensive submissions.Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, ensuring optimal utilization and financial performance. Provide regular reports on project status, technical performance, and team development to senior management.Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the MEP team, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical, or related engineering fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certificationMinimum of 12 years of relevant experience in PHE building services, with a proven track record of leading complex projectsStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets and resources.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and lead large-scale projects.Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
