About ADASIADASI is the regional leader in autonomous systems and services, dedicated to offering holistic solutions - from the development and production of unmanned systems to joint mission analysis and careful equipment acquisition. ADASI manufactures, operates and maintains next-generation autonomous solutions for air, land and sea - capable of performing in a diverse range of demanding environments. Leveraging advanced technologies to comply with the tactical demands of the future, ADASI aims to be a world leader in building the next generation of autonomous capabilities.Key Responsibilities :
Perform UAS major sub-system System Engineering functions i.e. defining/establishing requirements and the associated SE documentation (such as development, testing procedures and product specifications); perform continual sub-system performance improvements and design safety actions; and facilitate sub-system manufacturing data pack establishment issues. The goal is to help ADASI establish safe and produce-able sub-systems that comply with User needs so as to ultimately contribute to UAS Customer service delivery and satisfaction.
Ensure objectives setting and proper tasking and the quarterly review of the team performance.
Provide resource planning and HR needs for the group on a quarterly basis.
Set assignments for UAE national analyst regularly and based on the section goals and learning outcomes and update on quarterly basis.
Conduct assessment for UAE national engineers on quarterly basis and evaluate performance and determine corrective action including training.
Implement corrective actions, provide evidence and assess improvement.
Participate in continual ADASI sub-system design improvement initiatives by participating in appropriate testing initiatives, perform system problem solving and helping to pinpoint sub-system problem causes. The goal is to improve ADASI product sub-system reliability, robustness and to enhance Customer satisfaction.
Help to establish and refine ADASI/Engineering SE, QA and CM policies, procedures, forms, workflow and perform process initiatives/improvements with the goal of ADASI certification. The goal is to establish and maintain ADASI compliance to standards such as ISO 9001:2008 and/or AS/EN 9100 and guidelines such as ISO/IEC TR 24748.
Education & Experience:
Hold an Engineering B Sc degree preferably followed by a further tertiary qualification (such as a M Sc and/or an MBA).
Minimum 10 years of UAS life-cycle based professional development, development management, system-engineering, quality assurance and configuration management experience spanning multiple UAS types/products in companies.
Have a wide knowledge of selected Aerospace/UAS major sub-system (e.g. payloads, platforms, support equipment and ground stations) engineering disciplines and techniques involving aerodynamics, mechanics, electronics, software design, video, audio, communications equipment, system operations, system maintenance, system logistics and typical Aerospace/UAS problem solving.
Business acumen.
Have extensive experience in engineering processes as applied to several UAS major sub-systems and their life cycles such as R&D, System Engineering, QA, CM, system integration and test, system qualification, electromagnetic compatibility, industrialization, production and system manufacturing datapack (documentation) baseline establishment and management.
Have detailed knowledge of applicable ADASI UAS sub-systems and techniques so as to be able to advise developers on system design approaches and product problem solving.
Have a good understanding of UAS safety processes and techniques involving UAS design safety and flight safety.
Have strong technical documentation establishment process strengths in conjunction with developers so as to be able to define and structure sub-system product-related technical engineering documentation data packs to yield properly documented UAS sub-systems
