Working together with our Energy & Sustainability vertical you will be responsible for the following:

• Supporting client interface and business development initiatives in Singapore, ME region and the UAE region for sustainability and climate change projects
• Independently lead client meetings for projects and proposals in consultation with Smart Cities and Urban Infrastructure (SUIT) Directors in Singapore/Dubai
• Independently lead major sustainability road map projects and master plans with innovation, research and development of new energy, water, waste and sustainability initiatives under the general direction of the Smart Cities and Urban Infrastructure (SUIT) Directors in Singapore/Dubai
• Support Smart Cities and Urban Infrastructure (SUIT) Directors in Singapore/Dubai in technical proposals and project deliveries
• Understanding of local and international standards related to sustainability e.g. GRI standards, ISO standards for GHG emissions, green certifications to develop project methodologies and guide the team to deliver projects related to sustainability, carbon management, Climate Action Plans, greenhouse gas assessment Scope 1,2, 3 and offsetting plans etc
• Lead and deliver projects related to sustainability framework and KPIs, carbon accounting and reporting, material circularity, ESG management and materiality assessments, Life Cycle Assessment, ESD projects including green certification LEED, Wells, Envision, SITES, PEER etc. at different scales i.e. building scale and cities & communities
• Liaise closely with energy management experts for inputs on renewable energy potential, generation and storage management strategies, technology solutions and sustainability guidelines to meet project KPIs
• Liaise closely with smart city experts for sustainable smart solutions and delivering sustainability dashboards and analytics, reporting tools to meet project KPIs
• Liaise closely with environmental experts for environmental monitoring, management and sustainability guidelines to meet project KPIs
• Liaise closely with water, marine, coastal protection and hydrology experts for flood management and sustainability guidelines to meet project KPIs
• Liaise closely with landscape and planning teams for outdoor thermal comfort, shading, daylight, solar radiation analysis to meet project KPIs
• Liaise closely with waste management to meet project KPIs for sustainability
• Review studies related to energy modelling for high performance buildings, outdoor thermal comfort, shading and daylight studies, solar radiation analysis for solar energy potential, CFD analysis for wind energy potential, ventilation analysis within master plans
• Respond to requests for information from the clients and the other regional team members on energy, sustainability and environment projects
• Support on diverse projects on energy-related areas such as Environment Sustainable Design, Building Performance and sustainability through active and passive design, Renewable Energy potential and Sustainable building materials and faxc3xa7ade design
• Assess, formulate, and evaluate the impact of recommended or implemented solutions, projects, strategic, and programs from a sustainability perspective
• Closely work with waste, environment, power, water, energy and district cooling experts to develop Systems thinking in sustainability
• Review and analyse, understand blueprints and schematics, trend data and develop reports with recommendations, discrepancies, and description of sustainability review reports
• Lead life cycle assessment project
• Lead envisions and other certification projects
• Lead thermal comfort studies, shading analysis and massing studies with planners
• Support landscape planners for native plantations and GNPR assessment
• Lead renewable energy feasibility studies - wind, solar with support of energy team and specialists
• Showcase abilities to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities and leadership skills to manage interdisciplinary, technical teams
• Travel for presentations and client meetings
• MS Powerpoint, MS word, MS Excel, Power BI, CAD, Adobe illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, Rhino and other 3D software skills

About you:

• Masters or Bachelors degree in a related field
• Professional certification such as Certified Sustainability Practitioner (CSP) or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED)
• In-depth knowledge of sustainability principles, frameworks and standards
• A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies that drive business value
• 10+ years experience in sustainability/energy consulting
• Project Management skills
• Excellent communication and Stakeholder engagement skills
• Understanding of business operations, finance and risk management.
