Job Description
Principal Cloud & Hyperscalers Strategic Category will be a part of IT Services POD.
The Principal will be responsible for:
o defining, building and executing Cloud & Hyperscalers category strategy,
o driving strategic negotiations for critical projects with the vendors, supported by the category sourcing team, other flying squad & CoE members ,
o liaising with the stakeholders to understand their requirements and fulfil the demand in the best possible way,
o implementing best practices & identifying opportunities for bringing in efficiencies & effectiveness within the procurement value chain
o sharing expertise & deep knowledge with chapter members to upskill and achieve set outcomes
o actively monitoring of the Cloud workload implementation through Finops, supporting the MTN Cloud Centre Of Excellence
To fulfil its objectives, the Principal shall be a seasoned professional in the following IT Sourcing categories: Software/ Licenses, Professional Services and Managed Services, as well as having a solid expertise in complex contract management.
