Technology Integration
Supports teachers as they integrate technology into instruction and utilize technology resources in the classroom.
Understands and models teaching that incorporates 21st Century Learning Skills and student centered learning through student engagement.
Works collaboratively with classroom teachers to plan and deliver technology integrated lessons that support technology across the curriculum.
Models creative and innovative uses of technology in classroom instruction.
Works with teachers to model, coach, and teach technology skills.
Provides models for teachers in differentiating instruction through the use of technology to meet individual learning needs and to support a variety of learning styles and modalities.
Evaluates and reflects upon professional practices, emerging technologies, and current research to support student learning.
Establishes and/or maintains agreements and procedures for the use of technology
Maintains and updates software and hardware inventories.
SkillsThe ideal candidate will have:
A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in specialism (ideally IT)
A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable experience within a similar role, ideally within an IB Curriculum School, however this is not mandatory.
